Rapper Gucci Mane announces a tentative September 28 release date for forthcoming album, “The Appeal.”

Provided there are no album delays, that would pit Gucci up against T.I., whose “King Uncaged” is set for release the same day.

We’d like to point out Phil Collins’ “Going Back” also drops that day.
