Buzz is high on Dr. Dre’s new album “Detox” which is due out by the end of this year. Two tracks have already “leaked” online. The super producer says, while he has written music in tribute to his late son Andre Young Jr., who died of a drug overdose in 2008, he won’t include it on “Detox.”

Neil Young has teamed up with producer Daniel Lanois for forthcoming record, “Le Noise,” out Sept. 28. The eight-track album, which marks the first team the two have recorded together, features Young on acoustic and electric guitars and with no band or overdubs - just Lanois’ special sonic touch.
Cee-Lo Green has released the official music video for “F**ck You,” and it’s just as enjoyable as the online smash. Set in an old-school diner, the story follows a young Cee-Lo as he faces rejection by the “Heartbreaker” through his tween, teen and college years. The influential R&B star is remembered this week with a 16-song “Best of Gerald Levert” compilation album released via Rhino. Levert passed away in 2006 after an accidental overdose of prescription meds.
Kid Rock is set to release his forthcoming album “Born Free” on Nov. 16. The record, produced by Rick Rubin, includes first single “Born Free,” inspired by the star’s hometown of Detroit, as well as collaborations with Bob Seger, Sheryl Crow, Zac Brown and Trade Adkins.
Kanye West reveals he and Jay-Z are collaborating on a five-track EP called “Watch the Throne.” West made the announcement via his favorite social network Twitter before dropping new track “Monster,” featuring Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross and Bon Iver.
