Watch out Ukraine-based MP3Fiesta.com! The Combating Online Infringement & Counterfeits Act has been approved by the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee. The bill serves to combat rogue sites overseas who illegally offer copyrighted works such as music and films.

An Illegal MP3 Fiesta in the Ukraine?

I’m not kidding. There is a massive illegal music site based out of the Ukraine called MP3Fiesta.com.  Nothing screams fiesta more than the Ukraine! If it weren’t so serious, it would be funny. Thankfully the “Combating Online Infringement and Counterfeits Act,” which was introduced into the Senate in Sept., is gaining momentum. The legislation attempts to stop illegal sites hosted overseas that facilitate piracy of U.S. music and movies.
