A man jumped to his death during a Swell Season concert last night at Saratoga Mountain Winery. Lead singer Glen Hansard had just finished a song when the unidentified concertgoer leaped from the venue roof and landed onstage, just feet away from Hansard. The police are treating the death as a suicide.
Truth & Salvage Co.‘s Tim Jones has filed a lawsuit against Marriott Hotel Corporation following the singer’s arrest earlier this year for trespassing in his own hotel room. Jones, who was a registered guest at the Marriott in Visalia, California, claims he was “shaken awake and ripped from his bed” by hotel security and police while sleeping. A Phish fan is reportedly fighting for his life after jumping headfirst from a 25-foot balcony at the Jones Beach theater. The unidentified man suffered massive head trauma and is currently in critical condition at Nassau University Medical Center. “He just came out here to hear great music,” said an onlooker. “It’s sad to see this at a show.”
